A small nonprofit came to us with a solid local program. They hoped a big foundation would fund the staff they needed to grow. As we worked with the leadership, the real needs came into focus: they lacked a budget that reflected the full work, there were fundraising gaps, and they needed a structured plan for their programs.
The mission mattered. So much. The work was worth supporting. But another grant application wouldn’t have closed those gaps.
So we started there. They had lots to work with. Then with some guidance, the leadership and board learned what needed attention and we worked through it together.
Now their programs are growing, their leadership is strong, and their community trusts them to deliver. They are Relevant, Optimized, and Interacting.
That shift – that Return On Impact – is at the heart of what we do.
