Impact Innovations LLC · Last updated: September 22, 2026

This policy explains what information Impact Innovations LLC collects on returnonimpact.org and through our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our Terms of Use sit at returnonimpact.org/terms/.

1. What we collect

What you send us. When you contact us, apply for a program, take the ROIQ™, sign up for email, register for a workshop, or buy a service, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, organization, role, and the answers and messages you send. When you work with us, we also receive the documents and materials you share for that engagement.

Payment details. Stripe processes payments on our behalf. Stripe receives your card details directly. We receive your name, email address, organization, the amount, and a record of the transaction. We never see or store full card numbers.

How you use the site. Like most sites, we collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit, and how you reached us. Google Analytics gathers this for us through cookies.

2. How we use it

We use your information to respond to you, deliver your ROIQ results, deliver the services you buy, process payments, send email you asked for, improve the site and our diagnostics, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

ROIQ responses also help us improve the diagnostic itself. When we use ROIQ data in aggregate, such as in research or in reports for foundations, we remove anything that identifies your organization unless you have agreed otherwise.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use remarketing or advertising pixels on this site.

3. Who we share it with

We share information with the service providers that run our business, and only for the purpose each one serves:

  • Stripe, for payments
  • Typeform, which hosts the ROIQ diagnostic
  • Formidable Forms, which runs the forms on this site
  • MailerLite, which sends our email
  • Google Analytics, for site usage
  • Zoom and Calendly, for scheduling and holding calls
  • MemberVault, which hosts our courses
  • Heartbeat, which hosts our community
  • Google Workspace and Notion, where we keep working files and client records

Each provider handles your information under its own privacy policy and our agreement with it. We also share information with authorized team members and contractors who need it to deliver our services, under confidentiality obligations. We disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or merger of the business, in which case the new owner takes on this policy.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies for Google Analytics, so we can see which pages people read and how the site performs. Analytics data does not identify you by name. You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google’s opt-out browser add-on. The site still works with cookies off.

5. Email

We send email only to people who asked for it, bought something, or contacted us. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect right away. We still send service email, such as onboarding instructions and receipts, for anything you have bought.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to info@returnonimpact.org and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify who you are first. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

These rights apply to everyone we work with. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or California, the law gives you these rights by name, and you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

We keep some records even after a deletion request when the law requires it, such as payment and tax records, and we keep engagement records for as long as we may need them to serve you or defend a claim.

7. How long we keep information

We keep contact and ROIQ information while we have a relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward. We keep client engagement files and payment records for at least seven years for accounting and legal reasons. We delete or anonymize information we no longer need.

8. Security

We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including secure providers, limited access, and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.

9. Where your information lives

We are based in Missouri, United States, and our providers store information in the United States. If you use this site from another country, you are sending information to the United States, where privacy law may differ from your own.

10. Children

This site is for adults and organizations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to us and we will delete it.

11. Other sites

This site links to other sites, including our podcast, social media, and partner sites. Their privacy practices are their own.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the “last updated” date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you already gave us, we will tell you by email or a notice on the site.
